Summary: Wastewater samples collected within the scope of monitoring for SARS-CoV-2 are also processed for the quantification of Influenza A, Influenza B, and Respiratory Syncytial virus. Samples are processed weekly from fourteen wastewater treatment plants. Full data are available on request.

Limitations: Monitoring wastewater as an indicator of epidemiology of influenza and other respiratory viruses is an emerging and evolving field. Wastewater is also a complex matrix, and heterogeneity in the sample, variation in nucleic acid recovery, and impacts of inhibition on detection may introduce variation. Further, the polymerase chain reaction based methods used to generate data may not capture all circulating lineages of viruses. Data are presented to the best of our current knowledge, but may change as new data, particularly on quality control, emerge.
