Eawag

Seven research institutions from three countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) are closely working together in SeeWandel, investigating complex interactions between nutrient decline (re-oligotrophication), climate change, invasive and non-native species, as well as other stress factors, and how they affect the ecosystem of Lake Constance (a large Alpine lake on the border between Germany, Austria and Switzerland), its biodiversity and functioning, as well as the utilisation of lake resources by people.
