Information on political business and consultations of Eawag in connection with water.
Consultations
Eawag actively participates in consultations in the field of water and water bodies and contributes its expertise, for example in the amendment of laws, ordinances or federal implementation guidelines. The focus is always on evaluating individual topics with regard to the latest research findings and identifying possible options for action. The responsibility for making decisions lies with politicians. Eawag researchers also engage in dialogue with political and administrative representatives in other ways, for example as members of task forces, parliamentary hearings, commissions or in advisory discussions.

Water policy business
Three to four times a year, we publish a collection of more or less relevant ‘water policy’ topics from the previous months with brief references and links. The focus is on the national level, with outlooks to the cantons, the EU, neighbouring countries and courts. The compilations do not claim to be exhaustive. Until May 2024, the list was called ‘Inforadar’, now it has become the ‘Politradar Wasser’ by Eawag and Water Agenda 21 (in German only). You can also subscribe to the newsletter here.

Political radar water
The water policy radar summarises (without claiming to be exhaustive) political activities relevant to water and water bodies, particularly at federal level. Links lead to the issues or to additional information. The few keywords in the box next to the number are exemplary. The Water Policy Radar can be subscribed to as a newsletter via the link to Water Agenda 21. In German only.
