About Me

Dionys Hallenbarter studied and earned his doctorate in Forest and Environmental Sciences at ETH Zurich and WSL. He then worked for three years as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna, focusing on climate change, the Alps, forests, and natural hazards.

For the past 15 years, he has been involved in energy and environmental issues. He spent three years working at an engineering firm (EBP) before becoming a strategic energy consultant for renewable energy at ewz in Zurich. In addition to his main occupation, he co-initiated energregionGOMS, where he served as managing director for 10 years.
