About Me

I completed my PhD in 2024 in the Biogeochemistry Group under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Carsten Schubert, specializing in using state-of-the-art isotopic techniques, including compound-specific isotope analysis of amino acids. Our research involves both methodological development and applications across vulnerable ecosystems, including rivers, lakes, riparian zones, and Arctic regions in Southern Greenland. A key focus is assessing the impacts of global changes on food webs by examining shifts in primary production, cross-ecosystem nutrient flows, and nutritional quality.

You can find our publications below. Our latest research in revision focuses on understanding changes in food chain length in riparian ecosystems (spiders) and examining shifts in trophic transfer efficiency and the nutritional quality of fish in Greenlandic fjords, impacted by glacial melting.
