PhD Student

Department Urban Water Management

About Me

I'm a doctoral student in the department of urban water management at Eawag. My research aims to develop an integrated approach to evaluate different water sources in the urban water cycle, their availability and reliability for mitigating urban heat, and their cost-effectiveness in both economic and environmental terms. I work with both urban water and climate models to investigate using different water resources for pavement and blue-green infrastructure (BGI) watering to cool down urban areas.

I have so far developed a fast model to assess the impact of pavement watering on cooling at a city scale with high spatial and temporal resolutions, and will continue the above-described project based on it.
