About Me

I am an ecotoxicologist pursuing a PhD in Kristin Schirmer's group. My research focuses on advancing the use of fish cell lines as non-animal alternatives for environmental risk assessment. I investigate temperature responses, species sensitivity, and link chemical exposure to effects in fish cell lines using toxicokinetic-toxicodynamic (TK-TD) modeling.

Projects

Cell-based technologies combined with extrapolation models facilitate the estimation of chemical bioaccumulation, hence improving predictions of the in vivo level without the use of animals.
