About Me
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Pathogens and Human Health research group within the Department of Environmental Microbiology (Umik) at Eawag. I hold a PhD from the Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering (D-BSSE) at ETH Zurich. Prior to that, I completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Zurich and an International Master of Science in Marine Biological Resources, with a specialization in Applied Ecology and Conservation, from the University of Ghent.
During my Master, I performed an internship on data analyses at Zoological Society of London with Dr. Catherine Head and Dr. Dominic Andradi-Brown. Consequently, I completed my Master Thesis at the University of Bologna with Prof. Federica Costantini focusing on marine species identification using an integrative approach of morphological and molecular techniques.
