Nare Ngoepe successfully finished and defended her PhD thesis "A continuous fish fossil record reveals key insights into adaptive radiation" on Friday 22nd March 2024.

Dr. Nare Ngoepe was working on reconstructing the evolutionary history of the last 20'000 years of Lake Victoria cichlids based on fossils found in sediment cores. One of her papers was published in Nature end of last year, read more here...
