A 2022 paper co-authored by Eawag researcher Damien Bouffard on the impact of fish on ocean mixing has won the Ig Nobel Prize. The prize was awarded at the 33rd First Annual IG Nobel Prize ceremony, on September 14 and honours scientific achievements that first make people laugh, and then make them think.
