Janet Hering recipient of IHE Delft Honorary Fellowship

The IHE Delft Institute for Water Education has awarded Eawag Director Janet Hering an honorary fellowship. The Dutch institute researches aquatic issues in developing countries and emerging economies, promotes knowledge transfer in these regions and contributes to the training of local aquatic professionals. The Honorary Fellowship is awarded to individuals who excel in their contributions to this field of activity. Janet Hering’s research is partly concerned with biogeochemical cycles of trace elements in water, technologies for cleaning polluted drinking water and the management of aquatic resources and water infrastructure.
