Tove Larsen appointed adjunct professor at the Technical University of Denmark

Tove Larsen has been appointed adjunct professor at DTU, the Technical University of Denmark. Tove Larsen is group leader in the department of Urban Water Management and member of the Directorate at Eawag. Her ties with DTU go back to the early stages of her career, where she graduated in Chemical Engineering at DTU and obtained her PhD at DTU Environment. 

After her postdoc at ETH-Zürich, Tove Larsen came to Eawag, where she initiated and led several cross-cutting projects on innovative technology developments for urban water management. Her main interests are resource-efficient wastewater management and transdisciplinary research. In 2008, her project Novaquatis won the prestigious swiss-academies award for transdisciplinary research for its visionary, innovative and integrative approach to urban water management. In 2014, her project on the Blue Diversion Toilet obtained two innovation awards from IWA, the International Water Association.
