Recovering fertiliser from urine

As part of this project, a system has been developed for recycling nutrients from urine that can be used as a fertiliser. By recycling nutrients, synthetic fertiliser can be replaced and the nutrient load on water bodies decreases. This process is being commercialised by a start-up company.
