About Me
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Inter- and Transdisciplinary Research Group (ITD) at Eawag, where my focus lies on inter- and transdisciplinary integration, with a particular emphasis on the role of Early Career Researchers (ECRs). Currently, I am developing a project within the Blue-Green Biodiversity Initiative, analyzing how inter- and transdisciplinary approaches are planned, implemented, and practiced in a cross-institutional program. My research specifically addresses the needs of ECRs in inter- and transdisciplinary contexts, the challenges they face, and how targeted support through coaching and mentoring can help overcome these barriers.
I hold a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Bern, where my research explored the practices of evolutionary biology fieldwork. Through an ethnographic lens, I examined the sensory and embodied practices of evolutionary biologists, aiming to offer a fresh perspective on scientific knowledge production.
In addition to my research, I am a lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts. Leveraging my background as a trained designer, I promote collaboration between arts and sciences and teach courses in Science and Technology Studies as well as ethnography.
