NTSuisse - Development of a national Platform for the Analysis of High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry Data
NTSuisse is a collaborative project of Swiss cantonal environmental, water protection, and drinking water laboratories, the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag). The goal of the project is to create a web platform for the analysis of Liquid Chromatography High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (LC-HRMS) data, which serves as a shared database for monitoring the quality of surface water bodies such as lakes and rivers in Switzerland. The platform is intended to collect LC-HRMS data from various laboratories, automatically process and analyze it, and, provide the project partners with user-friendly access to the results and insightful visualizations. NTSuisse's outcomes will enhance water quality monitoring and provide a more comprehensive understanding of chemical pollution of Swiss surface waters.
