Sandec's digital learning programme is built around the online course series ”Sanitation, Water and Solid Waste for Development”. Since 2014, our four Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on water treatment, faecal sludge management, sanitation planning and solid waste management have reached nearly 200,000 learners around the world. The courses are available for free and can be accessed at any time on the learning platform Coursera.
In addition to providing WASH education at scale, our online courses serve as a starting point for more tailored learning offers developed in partnership with institutions in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
