The 8th biofilm workshop took place at Eawag

The passion for aquatic biofilm research and specifically their role in the global change context brought together around 25 experts from Europe, Northern and Southern America in a workshop hosted by Eawag and Centre Ecotox.

Earlier editions of this workshop took place in Germany, France, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.  Thanks to everyone for making this hybrid meeting an inspiring and fun event. It was the 8th workshop of its kind and will next be hosted at Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) Leipzig.
