Microplastics 2022 conference in Ascona - Mechanistic insights into the toxicity of tire particles applying fish cell lines

The Microplastics 2022 conference took place in Ascona, Switzerland, where Dr. William Dudefoi presented his research on the toxicity of tire tread particles to fish using Rainbow trout cell lines.

Dr Dudefoi presented his research during Session 6: (micro)plastics interactions with biota. His presentation was followed by presentations from his collaborators Dr. Thibault Masset from EPFL and Dr Alan J. Bergmann from Ecotox Center, presenting their results regarding the ecotoxicological impact of tire wear particles. More information regarding their research.
