About Me
Exploring environmental processes across diverse temporal and spatial scales is both fascinating and crucial for understanding climate change impacts. Earth observation satellites offer valuable insights into environmental conditions, which are essential for understanding and addressing the impacts of climate change. My current research centers on identifying phytoplankton taxonomic groups in eutrophic peri-alpine lakes through the use of remote sensing technologies, combining both ground-based and satellite-based observations.
I am an environmental engineer with a specialization in hydrology. Through this PhD, I am deepening my expertise in remote sensing while staying closely connected to hydrosphere studies.
