The departments Process Engineering (Eng) and Urban Water Management (SWW) cooperate closely. Many projects are carried out jointly and the synergies are leveraged by the shared Administration and the group Analytic and Technical Support.
Education at ETH Zurich
The Urban Water Management Group at ETH Zürich consists of two Professorships: the Chair of Process Engineering in Urban Water Management, led by Professor Dr. Eberhard Morgenroth (Eng), and the Chair of Urban Water Systems, headed by Professor Dr. Max Maurer (SWW).

The Process Engineering Department is organized in six closely cooperating research groups: Drinking Water, Wastewater, Source Separation & Decentralisation, Application & Development, Sensors & Automation and the Particle Laboratory.
